Shaw operates one of the largest
and most comprehensive fleets
of earthmoving equipment in Tasmania.
The company are continually upgrading equipment
to meet the changing requirements of the industry.
In addition to the company’s own substantial
fleet, Shaw is able to draw upon a broad range
of hire plant
to meet specialised requirements
or peak workloads.
Shaw take pride in their state of the art workshop,
built on 200 acres and capable of garaging large
machinery in a secure lock up environment, the
workshop continues to grow and be built with 100%
safety in mind.
Everything is done in house including engine rebuilds,
machinery repairs and fabrication, minimising cost
and maximising work efficiency.
The Shaw manufacturing department
is made up into two divisions, the engineering division making pins and bushes
and the fabrication section making buckets.
The Shaw staff are highly trained professionals
made up of mechanics, welders and specialised tradesmen
and several apprentices all contributing to maintaining and sustaining one
of Tasmania’s largest and most
