TASK
Shaw constructed a 700,000m³ earth dam wall at Renison Tin Mine, including a pressurised grout curtain, clay core, decant tower, and filters. Challenging site conditions such as deep silts, high rainfall, and Potential Acid Forming material were overcome through smart material sourcing, GPS-controlled placement, and precise planning. Despite difficult terrain and weather, the project was delivered safely, on time and to specification.
