Shaw replaced a deteriorating sewer pump station with a new precast structure at Coolstore Road. Deep excavation and constrained conditions required innovative construction methods, including sheet piling and the use of precast components to minimise excavation risk. Despite delays in switchboard supply, the project was completed ahead of schedule with no incidents or disruptions to stakeholders.
