Certifications
Shaw operates under an Integrated Management System that is individually certified to each of the Australian Standards for Quality, Environmental and Occupational Health and Safety Assurance ISO 9001; ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
These integrated practices ensure Shaw provides each project with specific management plans, policies and procedures to guarantee they meet statutory regulations, environmental controls and occupational health safety in all areas of its operation.
Shaw is annually audited by Sustainability Certification and undertakes its own scheduled internal audits.
This certification ensures provision of control of civil design, building construction and project management services relating to earthworks; road and bridge construction; residential; commercial and industrial development; concrete construction; plant and equipment hire; fabrication and erection of steelwork; drainage, including water; sewerage and stormwater reticulation and rebuild, repair and maintenance of plant and equipment in workshop and the field; Management and operation of landfills.
Over and above ISO45001 OHS Certification, Shaw has achieved accreditation to the Federal Safety Commission Accreditation Scheme.
