Shaw delivered major upgrades to the Torrens Street Sewer Pump Station, addressing overflow risks to the sensitive Coal River catchment. Works included pump and switchboard upgrades, rising main replacement, and inlet structure modifications. A temporary pump station was installed during construction to maintain service continuity. The completed works now provide compliant storage and pumping capacity, protecting downstream waterways and meeting TasWater’s design standards.
