Shaw completed sleeper replacement, ballast renewal and drainage improvements over 2.8km of the Bell Bay line, including 100m of full track renewal during a weekend shutdown. Works on the East Tamar Highway bridge required specialised safety controls to prevent ballast falls, all delivered without disrupting traffic. A custom night shift roster maximised safe work windows, allowing the project to be completed efficiently, on schedule and to a high standard.
