Shaw delivered a 6,500ML storage dam for Tasmanian Irrigation as part of the Upper Ringarooma Irrigation Scheme. The design and construct project included a 600m earth embankment, 750m spillway, and remote monitoring instrumentation. Working in a high-rainfall, environmentally sensitive area, Shaw successfully managed construction risks including pore pressure control, sedimentation, and native fauna protection. The completed scheme boosts agricultural productivity and helps safeguard the Ringarooma region against drought.
