TASK
As part of a major upgrade to the Midland Highway, Shaw delivered the design and construction of a 5-kilometre dual-lane high-speed interchange bypassing Perth. The project involved extensive earthworks, pavement construction, bridge structures and culverts, with a strong focus on safety, environmental outcomes and traffic flow. Completed nearly a year ahead of schedule, the project exceeded stakeholder expectations and significantly reduced traffic flow through Perth. This project won Shaw a prestigious award with the Civil Contractors Federation (CCF).
