Shaw delivered 8 km of safety upgrades along the Great Eastern Drive, including intersection improvements, overtaking lanes and bridge structures. Through collaborative planning, Shaw identified design efficiencies that saved the Department of State Growth approximately $1.5 million. Innovative staging and accelerated construction minimised traffic disruption during the busy tourism season while maintaining a safe and efficient journey for road users.
